My pc has artifacts and graphical glitches when heavy games
Troubleshooting Help:
What is your parts list? Consider formatting your parts list. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/q8BhHB Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive. I had loads of issues with it running linux. i built it to dual boot windows and linux but there are massive issues. opening the browser up would cause graphical artifacting, the fans were spin out of control on linux, and games crashed the system on proton play certain games, and graphical issues gaming like vertex explosions
i tried to use it with ubuntu, manjaro, and arch but all didnt work right
on windows for the most part its fine for low end games like csgo, it works perfectly. but for more graphically expensive games it seems that there are more visual glitches. i played crysis 1 the game crashed twice, and textures on certain parts of character models didnt load up and were only white. the shadows were not normal either and they dont work, they were flickering shadows occasionally. all other games ran either fine or very minor graphical issues so far.
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem. nothing yet
Post relevant photos of build/parts here. no
Provide any additional details you wish below. i use youtube build guide,
https://invidio.us/watch?v=LGd3nLaZKas i went all fine except for the cpu part when i bent pins. i bent them back, but it didnt fit in the socket so i forced the apu inside. I think i damaged it or something, the problems seem related to the igpu instead of the cpu itself

I’m a PS4 user, he’s my experience with the remaster so far...
The Crysis series is a franchise I’ve loosely followed since I was a teen. I remember liking Crysis 2, loving Crysis 3 and hoping one day I’ll have a stab at the original game that started it all. (Un)fortunately, we’ve been blessed (ahem, cursed) with this remaster for modern consoles. Not having played the original, I don’t have any of what I call “Nostalgia gripes” so my dissatisfaction towards this remaster isn’t from a place of personal memories of original, but the slew of technical issues I’ve faced. This is the most buggy game I’ve ever played for sure.
So here’s what issues I’ve experienced so far:
- Stutters when “leaving” the ocean after swimming
- Stutters when the game saves at checkpoints (which is often because the checkpoints are so often).
- Stutters when reaching “100%” on the load screen
- Enemies will spot you from a mile off, even if they’re not looking in your direction
- inconsistent hit detection
- inconsistent ADS assist
- The worst difficulty spikes I’ve ever seen
- blank screens
- 2 consecutive blue screen errors within 15 minutes
I really want to look for a positive in this game. I know Crytek had the fans in mind by releasing the game sooner rather than later, but I’m 99% sure we wouldn’t have minded a release date nearer to Christmas. The game is borderline unplayable right now, there seems to have been no quality control at all. I’ve heard how bad the XBOX One port is, so I feel quite lucky to have not experienced those major issues, I hope they’re fixed soon for all our enjoyments sake.
